Education Background:
Carron Lee is a graduate in Bachelor Degree in Entomology with Honours from University Science Malaysia (USM). My thesis for final year was on mosquitoes.
Why Mosquitoes on Final Year?
I was given an opportunity to have my training in Fumakilla, Malaysia during my uni life. Fumakilla is a household pesticide company under Texchem Group. It's proud to say that, they have their own Entomology Laboratory. Fumakilla Malaysia Entomology Lab divided into 2 sections, which they have its own insects cultural lab and pesticides testing lab. I still remember how bad it was, where I always get bitten by mosquitoes and because of the bites, it made me want to know more on mosquitoes and get them kill off. And there's how I ended up in choosing mosquitoes as my final year thesis.
Working Experience:
It was an honour for me to be part of Rentokil Group as soon as I left USM. I was given a pleasure training on field by all the experience Masters from Rentokil. Get exposed in Quality and Operations and supporting 2 branches in Malaysia.
I was head hunted by UMC ServiceMaster Sdn Bhd Vice President, FM Strategy as a technical support head for the start of their newly form Pest Control department. I was given a chance to lead the whole team as a Business Development & Operations Manager in year 2009. New role, new life and bringing me into business world. Pioneer for the department since 2004. Turn around the department from non-profitable to profitable within 2 years.
